Update: October 11, 2912
We had the festival last Saturday. Although a couple of musicians couldn’t make it, and the weather turned terribly cold, we had a marvelous time and were blessed in the Lord. Matt Scheer and Joshua Sharp did a great job in getting JITC organized. We had a number of friends and ministries help make it possible. Hope Church from Ste. Genevieve brought food and clothes, and their youth group worked with our kids and gave a puppet Show. Nanette Brooks brought the Jesus Jam group. They gave away prizes (including two bikes), and food. They also gave a message of salvation, and one of our daycare parents was saved. Mynista gave a powerful testimony and shared a couple of songs. Steve and Robin Boda from Bridge of Hope, Jan Quinn from the city of St. Louis, Terry Salfen, from the Gideons, gave out New Testaments. and about 90% of the church shared the rest of the duties of the day. We had a cake walk, fed the homeless, played all kinds of games, gave away more prizes and food, and were truly blessed.

Matthew 25:34-36 (NIV)
34 “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in,36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.‘
Jesus In The City and our other ministries are intentional efforts to live out the Godly principles found in the parable of the sheep and goats.
